Statuses can be configured to have rules for transitioning. This allows projects to set requirements for when status changes can occur. Linked statuses are displayed as clickable within the Document but will not change if a transition rule is not met for the change.

Creating/Editing Transition Rules

  1. Hover over a transition line or Click an existing Transition

    1. Click Edit

  2. Input a Name for the Transition

  3. Click on the + sign for Transition Rules

  4. Select a Rule

    1. Is blank: Creates a rule where no data is required

    2. Is not blank: Creates a rule where any value is required

    3. Specific value: Creates a rule where a value is required

  5. Field

    1. Select the Field(s) that the rule will apply to

  6. Operation

    1. Selector the operator for the Field

  7. Value

    1. Select the variable(s) or Input the data required for the rule

  8. Click Create

'Any' Transition

"Any" is a default transition that created for all statuses that are set to "Always Available". It is a transition that rules can also be applied to. These transitions can not be renamed.
