Condition

Conditions are important factors to consider when building an automation. Conditions are the circumstances that determine if an automation will execute its action(s). Automations can have a maximum of 30 conditions.

  1. Proceed If: Select a condition type

      1. Set a check on Status

      1. Set a check on a Field

      1. Set a check for the Assignee

Condition - Status

  1. Select Operator

    1. Is:

      1. Select a Status

      2. Any” is an available option to check for changes to any status

    2. Is Not:

      1. Select a Status

    3. Changes:

      1. Changes from: Select a previous Status

      2. To: Select the new Status

  2. Select or Input conditions

  3. Click Save Condition

Condition - Field

  1. Select a Field Type

  2. Select a Conditional Option for the Field Type

  3. Input or select the parameter(s) of the option

    1. This input will only be shown if the option requires it

  4. Click Save Condition

Condition - Assignee

  1. Select a User

    1. Any” is an available option to check for changes to any user

  2. Click Save Condition

Document Lookup

This is considered a conditional node that allows users to check if a Task exists or does not exist within the Event’s Location.

This node will only be displayed if the Event’s location is on a Job Type.

  1. Select a Task Type

    1. Dropdown will only display Task Types from the event’s Job Type.

  2. Existence

    1. Does Exist: Checks if the Task Type exists within the Job

    2. Does Not Exist: Checks if the Task Type does not exist within the Job

  3. Click Save Condition
