In order for an automation to run, there must be something that happens, or an event must take place.
Click on the Add Automation button
Input a Name
Names must be unique
Input a Description
What kind of event are you looking to set up?
Status Update: Automation occurs when a status has been updated
Value Update: Automation occurs when a value has been updated
Assignee Update: Automation occurs when an Assignee has been updated
Document Creation: Automation occurs when a Document is created
Does NOT trigger when documents are created via Automation
When?
Job: The automation will begin when the event occurs within a Job
Task: The automation will begin when the event occurs within a Task

Select the Job Type being affected

Select the Task Type being affected
(This secondary βInβ field will only be displayed if the event occurs to a Task)
Is
Select the Field Type being affected
(This field will only be displayed if the event is a Value Update)
Click Create Event to create the Automation Event
